Another day, another Tried and Tested Tuesday! We are diving deeper into the green beauty world and taking a look at what Au Naturale Cosmetics has to offer. I was sent a few of their creme and powder eyeshadows to review for you guys, and here are my thoughts!

About the Brand:
Au Naturale is really as clean as it comes to green beauty. All of their products are cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, non-toxic, non-nano, gluten free and ethical. WOW! Truly amazing and inspiring when a brand holds themselves and their products to such high standards!
Honestly not a fan. While I appreciate the fact that they are such clean and green (hey that rhymed!) beauty products, these creme eyeshadows really do not hold a candle to conventional cream eyeshadows. The Creme Eye Shadow in Ivory is very sheer champagne color, and the Creme Eye Shadow in Bliss is a very sheer magenta. They really could only be used as a base for powder shadows. The pigmentation is very, very minimal, and they are not long lasting. For $20.00 each, I wouldn’t spend my money on it.
Organic Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Wax, Organic Lavandula officinalis (Lavender) Oil, Manihot Esculenta (Tapioca) Root Starch, Titanium Dioxide Iron Oxide, Mica.
These are spectacular!! The powder eyeshadows come in a loose formula, but don’t let that dissuade you. They pack a ton of pigmentation, resist creasing and are highly blendable! These are even better than some of my conventional eyeshadows! They retail for $15.00 and can be used wet or dry.
The Powder Eye Shadow in Tobacco is by far my favorite of the three shades, I have been using it almost every single day! It is a warm brown with a slight sheen and can be blended on the lid and crease for a one and done eyeshadow look. Au Naturale calls it a matte shade, but it really isn’t completely matte. ThePowder Eye Shadow in Dark Opal is a deep cranberry color with a slight sheen as well, and is absolutely stunning! The Powder Eye Shadow in Hibiscus is a sparkly and opalescent pink, a unique color I don’t see very often in the beauty world.
Iron Oxides, Silica, Zinc Oxide, Mica.
